Summary:
The Staff Chaplain provides spiritual and emotional support to patients, families, and staff of varying faith traditions and no faith.Responsibilities:
1. Provides spiritual and emotional support to patients, families, and staff of varying faith traditions and no faith. 2. Develops and leads inter-faith prayer and worship opportunities, memorial services, and rituals as deemed appropriate. 3. Provides spiritual assessment and care plan which addresses age appropriate and developmental specific needs as a member of the interdisciplinary team. 4. Provides education to identified audiences related to the spiritual needs of children and their families. 5. Participates in committees as assigned and may conduct research into the spiritual care of the sick. 6. Maintains professional integrity. 7. Other duties as required.Other information:
