CablesAndKits, a supplier of networking hardware and infrastructure products, is hiring a Shipping Specialist in downtown Commerce, GA.

OPPORTUNITY:

As a Shipping Clerk on our team, you will help manage the shipping of computer networking hardware and supplies. Receive orders, pick correct items, and pack for shipping. You will also review other shipping team members’ orders for quality assurance. Your critical thinking experience processing international shipments will make you an invaluable member of our team.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Accurately pick, pack, and ship customer orders for networking equipment and supplies.
• Prepare shipping labels and any other required export documentation.
• Ensure all outgoing shipments meet company standards for packaging and labeling.
• Manage and process any returned items and coordinate restocking as necessary.
• Check other employees’ orders for quality assurance and accuracy before shipment goes out.
• Process international shipments.
• Pick and pack about 150 orders each day.

SUCCESS FACTORS:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior experience in shipping, logistics, or inventory management is a plus.
• Critical thinker and consciousness about your work.
• Previous experience with UPS Worldship shipping software.
• Quick and results-oriented
• Previous experience with international shipments is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and highly organized.
• Drug-Free Workplace and all candidates must pass a drug screen and background check.

COMPENSATION:

CablesAndKits will reward your shipping talents with an hourly wage between $15-$17/hour depending on experience.
